Sermon Notes

i guess one of the blessings of being back in Singapore is the revelation of God's Word through the teachings of Pastor Prince in New Creation Church.

my friends & i are very enthu about attending the church's weekly bible study (thur or fri)... it's not the worship, it's not the auditorium, definitely not the big crowd & long queue that draws us... but the bible study! as a "long time" christian, i've not seen such in-depth study of the bible - both old & new testament! in the past, i always see old testament as bible stories where we can all learn a lesson or two from. but hey! do you know most of these old testament stories / characters are a typology of Jesus Christ in the new testament? do you know even in Genesis at the garden of eden, God already spoke the prophecy of the virgin birth?

i don't know about you, but i'm excited! because (suddenly) the bible seems sooooo real to me. It's an evidence of God as the Alpha & Omega (the beginning and the end)! Hallelujah!!! *sorry, got carried away back there.. hee*

like i said, ncc's bible study is really bible study bible study - in fact even the sermon preached on sunday service is bible study based! soon i found myself taking down notes, going back to type out the sermon notes with scripture references, and emailing it to my friends. if you're reading this & didn't receive the sermon notes from me, i sincerely apologize because as much as i'm eager to share with you, there are just some "hidden" constraints... i'm sure you know what i mean.

a friend asked me why don't i share the sermon notes as blog entries? my immediate reaction was "huh?" and i thought i'll probably bored you all... but then i've got a brilliant idea! i've decided to create a link to the sermon notes & upload it to my blog (see "sermon notes" on the right side text area). that way, those who are interested to read will have to download the notes - at their own free will! hahahaha!!! *Jesus is my wisdom! amen!*

ps. i'll be uploading more sermon notes as time goes by... so keep checking the "sermon notes" on your right!
