I'm Back!

sorry for the long silence....

the winter games in Torino came to a close & surprisingly, the move out went very well. in fact, we were prepared for the worst, considering the italian's working style & attitude! haha..

welp! holidaying in Italy is quite different - although we have experienced the super bo chap attitude of those sales/cashiers in shops. imagine this: you stand at the cash counter, ready to pay for the product & the cashier talks to her colleagues, completely ignores you... then you look at her, she continues to talk, oblivious to the sales that are about to take place... then you stare at her, she reluctantly starts to scan the price tag... then she talks again... talk... talk... talk... finally after 10min of patience waiting, you leave the shop with your purchase. i tell you, i feel like saying to her "YOU ARE FIRED!" =P

it's good to be back in SG - as always. will be here for 2 weeks & will report for work in Beijing on 3 apr, that gives me very little time to eat the yummy food, to catch up with family & friends, and to prepare for my relocation. despite that, i'm excited about the "adventure" & work challenges ahead.
