...a choice made, is chore.
keeping a pet... a choice
picking up his poo... a chore
buying an apartment... a choice
cleaning the apartment... a chore
career path... a choice
coping with work... a chore
creating a blog... a choice
posting the blog... a chore (at least for me!) =P
speaking of which, i've not been posting & so here i am - trying very hard... hee!
how many of us go through life busy with the "chores" without us making a choice in the 1st place?
- i didn't choose to be born into this world but i've to complete life's journey & "run the race"
- i didn't choose which family to be born into but i've to learn to love & accept them as who they are
- i didn't choose to go to school (my parents did!) but i've to study & produce decent results to please them
although these choices were made by default, they are not necessary bad for us... instead of dwelling on what we have no choice/control over, why not place our energy to work positively on these "chores"?

yoyo,back for stating a comment, well i guess life's up n dwns are just part n parcel of our life, God nv said n promise tt on Earth our life would be easy, moreover, if life was tt easy, he or she should be getting worried..haha..
about chores, some comes with responsibility and we must fufill it while some are choices that we can make(decision making)..whether it's about a chore or a choice, as long as it's pleasing in God's eyes, we must fufill it.. right?
Education although it's getting tougher each yr, but thinking if we dun haf any, will be able to obtain wat we achieve now?will we be leading such a gd life?parents are there to guide their child, and to nurture them, not to harm and hurt them, at the end of the day, the child is still their flesh n blood, naturally, they would wan the best for the child. Somethings are hard to understand at such a tender young age, but when we get older, we will understand wat our parents did was actually right and it was for our own gd. It maybe bitter n torturous in the beginning, but i believe if there is a will there will be a way. Nothing comes easily or cheap, you will just haf to work ur way thru things to obtain ur goals...
It is a chore if I perceive it as a chore. Personally I take it as a learning experience. There is a purpose in everything we do yesterday and today for this is to prepare us for something that is unknown to us in the future. When I looked back, I would marvel at the beauty of GOD's grand plan.
I have experienced it many times.
Most of the time making a choice itself have already post a chore to me. Its always the consequences that comes along with it that puts me off. Therefore, I would rather let God make choices for me. How would I know that is D choice? Well, I have no other choice then that is D choice! Of course not! We always know what is the modal answers, but its our "self" that we cannot handle. Our emotions, body, mind and our heart. These are the things which always come in between us and God's choice.
Seek God's wisdom.
